Tim has over 20 years of experience working in the fields of public policy, political strategy, and grassroots mobilization. Tim has held leadership roles for a comprehensive list of state & federal campaigns before serving as the senior director for a national grassroots organization. Tim is an Iowa native, graduating with a degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa. He currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska, with his family.
Jordan has 20 years of leadership experience in political and public policy campaigns, with a strong focus on coalition building and grassroots advocacy. Jordan has led both national and statewide organizations focused on education, criminal justice and tax reform policy.
Kristen leverages her experience in communications and public affairs to help clients design and execute political, public affairs and media strategies that reach target audiences and achieve measurable results. Kristen has worked with Fortune 100 companies, trade associations and non-profits on a range of issues, including education, technology and energy.
Gary founded Compass Public Affairs Group, Inc. in 2003 after serving in various positions in state and federal government. Through Compass Group, Gary has represented several national education clients and consulted in multiple state and national political campaigns. Gary has a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science and a Master of the Arts in Public Policy from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Gary is well versed in legislation and policy in Arizona and throughout the country.
Luke is a well-respected political professional with over 15 years of experience. Since 2006, he has worked in a dozen states managing large and small political and advocacy efforts at the local, state, and federal levels.
Luke is a fourth-generation Iowan and a graduate of Iowa State University. He is a member of the American Association of Political Consultants and an OSCE/ODIHR certified international election observer.
Outside of politics, he enjoys kayaking, gardening, and traveling.
Christine’s public affairs experience includes coalition-building and issue advocacy in a client-facing and grassroots management role over the past 10+ years – she holds diverse expertise with corporate clients in the energy, education, tax and healthcare fields, involving campaigns geared toward local, state and federal-level initiatives. Other experience includes national political organization and presidential campaign work (‘12 and ‘16 cycles).
Chase Eskelsen has spent over a decade in the education field. He began his career as a school administrator focused on strong operational metrics and scaling full-time, online schools (both charter and district). Upon leaving the school management position, he supported K12 Inc. with one foot in the academic policy world and the other in government affairs supporting digital educational options. He then served as the Chief Operating Officer of Verano Learning Partners where he oversaw the launch of new hybrid schools and supported the acquisition of educational opportunities until starting Fersken Education LLC in late 2021.
Chris has worked for over 25 years on issues at the intersection of public policy, law and politics. He held various positions in the administration and campaigns of Governor Tommy Thompson, including the development, passage, and implementation of many of Thompson's groundbreaking reforms, including education reform.
After leaving the Thompson administration, Chris joined one of the Midwest's leading law firms, Michael Best, LLP, where he assisted clients in addressing complex regulatory issues in the areas of education, insurance and health care.
Chris would later join K12, Inc., the leading online charter school management company in the nation, as Assistant General Counsel and S.V.P. of Regulatory Affairs. In six years with K12, Chris served as lead counsel for public affairs, including development and implementation of education policy in more than 30 states.
Over the past 10+ years, Jessica has delivered quality media products to clients at the state and national level. Her experience in digital media strategy began after high school as the PR/Marketing Coordinator for a Delaware human rights non-profit. She developed a Catholic diocesan-approved school outreach program during her time with the organization.
In 2015, the music video she wrote, directed, and co-produced for recording artist Caitlin Jane won a second place award at the International Christian Film Festival in Orlando, FL. Jessica has also written for multiple online publications in addition to being a self-published children’s book author-illustrator. She has a degree in education and hails from the first state where she lives with her husband and son.
Kristin has over 10 years of experience working in finance and back-office management. Prior to joining RSG, Kristin was the Pharmacy Accounting Specialist for the Douglas County Health Center before launching her own online business. Kristin has a B.A. from Buena Vista in Business Administration.
